Owner know-how
Pool education for owners who want to do it themselves
Prefer to maintain your own pool? Nathan teaches you your system and the best practices that keep it running.
Where first-time pool owners get stuck
The equipment pad looks like a plumbing puzzle the first time you stand in front of it: a pump, a filter, a handful of valves, maybe a timeclock and a salt cell. Add the Surprise sun, and a small mistake with the water can show up within days.
Advice online contradicts itself, and the pool store answers a question about a product, not about your pool. Many owners end up paying for service they don't need or skipping work they do.

Your system, explained as it sits in your yard
Pool education at Mountain Ridge is for owners who want to maintain their own pool. Nathan teaches you your system and the best practices for it, using your equipment instead of a generic diagram.
In practice that means the everyday craft: how to brush the surfaces and skim debris, how to empty the skimmer and pump baskets, how to read what the pump and filter are telling you, and how to spot the signs that something has changed. It also means knowing when a filter is due. Cartridge and DE filters should be cleaned at least every 6 months, and quarterly for some pools.
Do the routine yourself, call for the rest
Some jobs are better left to a technician, and part of learning your pool is learning where that line sits. A filter deep clean, a worn motor or a failing salt cell is the kind of work you'd rather hand off than guess at.
Owners can pick the pieces they want. One-time filter cleanings start at $100, and if the routine turns out to be more than you want, weekly service picks it up for one all-in monthly price, with no contract. Call (480) 382-6282 or text a photo of your equipment pad to start the conversation.
